A Brief History

In 2011, I built a home bar with the help of my parents. Having never done any woodworking before, it was a daunting task. Halfway into the first day, I feared I'd made a huge mistake. After day two, the bar was starting to come together. I was not only happy with the progress, but I'd found a new hobby.

Fast forward to 2018 and I've build several other pieces, including an outdoor bar table (pictured above) that is famous among friends. I also got my first Big Green Egg in 2018, which really fueled my desire to grill and smoke meat more than ever before.

I decided to start this site to document how I go about doing what I do for fun. Whenever I try something for the first time, I'm searching the internet or watching YouTube videos for help. While I've found a lot of great information, I want to help those out there that were like me. I hope you enjoy what you find here!
